White tail: The story of an African buffalo - Ed Naylor

This book succeeds in doing for the African Buffalo what Henry Williamson did for the English Otter. It also illustrates the customs and manners of the Ila people of what was Northern Rhodesia and is now Zambia.

By the care and passion of the text the accuracy and authenticity of all that takes place is easily recognised. Dr. Naylor has not only called on his own experiences as a hunter and as an Honorary Wild Life Ranger, but has also researched the literature, to present a day to day account of this engaging animal.
