Coastal downs: Ogmore and Dunraven - Mary E. Gillham

The spacious cliffs of Dunraven form the hub of the Heritage Coast, the main dividing valley housing the project office and visitor centre. A wide range of plant and animal life inhabits the different limestones of the grassy cliffs, while the great sweep of tidal sand in Seamouth Bay and lesser beaches to either side are more scenic than any others east of Gower. Much is open to wind and sky, but woodlands fill the valleys and the area is steeped in history, going back to pre-Roman times.
