Holiday house - Enid Blyton (First edition)
Holiday house - Enid Blyton (First edition)
A new Enid Blyton book! What is it about this time? "Holiday house", it sounds exciting - and so it is!
Holiday House is a place where many children are sent for a holiday, and the twins, Mary and Pat, go there too, after an illness. The house is built almost on the edge of the beach - an old house with a big tower at one end.
What is the story about? Children, of course, and their doings - and the queer bug boy Graham, who has a room to himself in the tower - and eaves - and a strange tunnel through the cliffs - an old ruined house nearby - the spying yellow-haired man - Tippy the poodle - well, you'll have to read it and find out for yourself all that happens at Holiday House.
But it's an Enid Blyton book, you know - so give yourself plenty of time to read it, because you won't be able to put it down once you've begun it! There is some kind of magic in her books, there's no doubt about that.
